Motorised Carts Policy
Only persons that hold a valid driver’s license are permitted to drive buggies on the course under any circumstances. Insurance cover does not apply to drivers under the age of 17.
Rules in relation to the use of Motorised Carts on the course:
1. Vehicles must keep to the defined pathways where provided
2. Vehicles must not be driven or parked within 10 meters of greens or bunkers, other than on the paths provided
3. Do not park on, or drive over any tee
4. Do not park in front of a green
5. Drivers must avoid wet, muddy and soft areas
6. Drivers must obey all directional signs and abide by the local rules as stated on the scorecard or the local rules board
7. Drivers must not drive any motorised buggy in the club carpark and must use the designated car and buggy parking area.
8. Carts with petrol driven motors must not be left running, whilst other members are playing their shot. Courtesy to all players, whether in the same group or not, is required.
9. Violation or any of these rules may result in the privilege of motorised buggy use being withdrawn, and/or disciplinary action.
10. Motorised carts are not permitted in the Kingaroy Golf Club carpark under any circumstances.
11. Vehicles are to obey ALL speed limits and safety signage throughout the club premises/grounds.
Insurance of Motorised Golf Carts
All owners of Motorised Golf Carts being stored or driven at the Kingaroy Golf Club are responsible for insuring their own cart. Motorised cart owners are liable for any injuries or damages caused by their actions.
